31 Décember Collioure
For New Year's Eve 2023 we wanted sunshine. In 2017 we spent New Year's Eve in Collioure and enjoyed it a lot, we decided to go back in 2023.
We arrived at the rest area on Saturday 30 December at the end of the morning, we didn't want to arrive so early but given the record number of motorhomes we were right, later all the parking places are quickly full.
The sun and the mildness are there, the evening of December 31st starts at 6:30 p.m. with a sound and light show followed by the mayor's greetings, at midnight a beautiful fireworks display.
We used the CC area, admittedly a bit far from the city center, but in 25 minutes on foot we were in the center.

On January 1st, leaving Collioure, we decided to try to visit the Christmas market in Barcarès, we saw on the internet that the previous days access was impossible due to a record crowd. But this morning, January 1st, we are only a few dozen people when the opening at 11 a.m? certainly not all the stands are open,
