MEXICO 2020
For our winter 2020 trip we have chosen Mexico as our destination, we cannot visit the whole country in two weeks so we decide to only visit Yucatan.
We take our flight to Lyon St Saint-Exupéry with two changes the first in Madrid the second in Miami to finally land in Cancun.
We organized our trip ourselves, booked our hotels and a car etc ..., we arrive around 22:00 in Cancun, we collect our vehicle at the airport and join our basic hotel but sufficient for one night.

For this first day we leave the city of Cancun to reach Valladolid, the journey will be quite fast the roads are excellent and there is little traffic.
Nous arrivons vers 12h00 et prenons notre premier repas mexicain très bon au menu tortas dont nous allons rapidement nous lasser.
L'après-midi nous visitons les alentours le village de "Uayma" , un Cenote (trou profond avec de l'eau pour la baignade, ces cenotes proviendraient de la chute de météorites).
En fin de journée nous retournons au centre de Valladolid sur place centrale ou il y a des animations beaucoup de monde qui flâne comme dans tous les villages du Mexique.

After the towns we reach the region of Calakmul, a wilder and less touristy place, we will spend the night in a luxury "cabin" or in the middle of a beautiful wild park where many hummingbirds fly, there is also a beautiful vegetation with many tropical fruits.
This place is truly heavenly as well as our accommodation or two ladies will come and make us breakfast.

The next day we want to visit the archaeological site of Calakmul with the hope of seeing and hearing the howler monkeys. & Nbsp; The road is very long, in cul de sac (60 km) we will not be disappointed because we will hear and see the spectacular howler monkeys, not to spoil the pleasure, the archaeological site is much wilder and less frequented than Chichen Itza.
After the city and then the forest, here we are in Bacalar and its famous lagoon, indeed the color of the water is really exceptional, to detract from the charm of this lagoon, the city is nice.

The trip draws to a close (especially the circuit) here we are in Tulum the place is really tourist factory with its many restaurants and trendy bars, we chose a very beautiful hotel with an extraordinary decoration.
To end this Mexican stay, we have a few days left to spend in an all-inclusive hotel, we will take advantage of all the pleasures of food, drinks, the many swimming pools, to be back in great shape.
