INDIA 2019
In this month of January 2019 departure for a total change of scenery with this 2 week stay in India where we will visit only one region, Rajasthan.
We take the daily flight from Lyon to Dubai and then from Dubai to New Delhi.
We arrive at the end of the day in this megalopolis or at the airport awaiting our driver who will drive us throughout our journey.
Once dropped off at the hotel we visit the surroundings in order to have a first contact with this country.
Naturally as we expected a lot of people in the streets, a dense population but in the area where we are there are restaurants and luxury shops.
Of course there are people from all castes but no feelings of insecurity or begging on every street corner, we can walk around without worry.
After this first evening in India, today towards Mandawa, on the way we take pictures of everyday life, with these famous sacred cows, these overloaded vehicles, Hindu temples, rubbish and lack of hygiene.

In the city of Mandawa we discover an India totally different from what we were able to discover during our first evening in New Delhi, a bustling city with few tourist merchants, shops on every street corner, an infernal noise of incessant honking and also pollution
In this region there are many Haveli (former palaces of rich traders) some transformed into hotels, like the one where we are staying, some being repaired and others abandoned.

To finish this trip we are back in New Delhi where we will visit the ancient city and the main historical monuments before taking the plane.
