There are quite a few people, especially the Turks who are returning to the country. We drive to Sofia where we reach an area located in the property of a private named Ivan, this land can accommodate 5 to 6 motorhomes, with water and electricity.
This place is quiet, moreover it is located a hundred meters from the metro station which quickly reaches the center of Sofia.

We take the metro to reach the center in less than half an hour, there are few people in the metro.
We find that the capital of this country is more like a big city than a real capital.
We visit the Synagogue, the Halite market, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and to finish the market where we will do some shopping and discover the lack or even the total absence of sympathy from the Bulgarians.

We leave Sofia to reach the Rila monastery. This monastery located in the wooded mountains is really beautiful and probably the most beautiful monument in all of Bulgaria, unfortunately the weather is not very good, we discover this place in cloudy weather.
Then we continue towards Melnik but the weather is more and more cloudy we arrive in Melnik in the rain.
Fortunately at the end of the evening the rain stops and we can visit this village undergoing restoration, there are still few people and even fewer tourists.
We are 3 motorhome in the village parking lot, we spend a calm and peaceful night.
We have traveled 242 km
Today bad surprise we want to visit Bansko, which is a ski resort, there are few people, we park without worries.
We walk for an hour in a nice town but still not very lively. When we reach the motorhome we have a shoe, the reason for this shoe and the non-payment of parking.
We did not see the sign (in Cyrillic) more the payment agent was not present when we arrived, luckily we finally find a welcoming Bulgarian who shows us the place to pay the ticket and remove this shoe.
We pay € 6 for the removal of this shoe, resulting in more hassle than costs, on the other hand that will cool us down for the choices of our future parking lots in the cities.
After this mishap we stop at a mountain restaurant where we have lunch simply but very well for cheap.
To continue the day we visit the beautiful city of Plovdiv alas the rain continues us, we can still visit the old town with its amphitheater and the house where Lamartine stayed.
After that we reach the Kisphka pass to spend the night there, we noted on the Info camper site that some motorhomes had spent the night there, however today we are alone and in the fog.

In the afternoon the rain stops which allows us to stroll in the resort of Ozbor, a tourist resort certainly but with a more human dimension.
At the end of the afternoon we arrive in Nessebar, we park in the parking lot where we spend the night, we visit the old town which is very touristy but typical, this town is worth the detour.
We will leave the parking lot the next morning.

We stayed for 21 nights, we spent 2 nights in the area (only in Sofia) and 5 nights in camping (Croatia). All the nights in Bulgaria were spent in wild bivouac and without any worries, moreover the places to park are numerous.
This country is not very touristy, in my opinion due to Bulgarians who do not have a sense of welcome or even rather unfriendly.
In addition, the capital is relatively poor in monuments and places to visit.
Likewise in the whole country there are few places, not to be missed except (Rila Monastery, Nessebar, Sozopol).
The towns and villages are not lively, there is no market or entertainment, unlike other countries that we have been able to visit.
There are few places on the coast where you can enjoy the Black Sea.
On the other hand, the cost of living is relatively low, restaurant inexpensive.
