Sri-Lanka 2016
The destination of our 2016 without motor-home trip is Sri Lanka (Formerly Ceylon) Our first impressions make us think of India even though we have not been to this country yet. Many colors, the Buddhist religion is omnipresent with its sacred cows.
We chose the Turyaa hotel in Waduwa. Our first visit is the capital Colombo, we decide to go there by train as the train station is only a few hundred meters from our hotel. No worries to go there on the return it will be a little more difficult because of the crowds, moreover many travelers make the trip standing or sitting on the steps.

The modernity of the capital rubs shoulders with traditionalism, in our hotel Sri Lankans come to celebrate their wedding and are happy to take pictures of tourists at the same time as that of the official photographer. It must be recognized that the colors and the smile of the brides are particularly photogenic.
The second excursion will be inside the island, to start the elephant orphanage, we attend their bathing in the river. We continue the day by visiting the botanical garden of Kandy with then the temple, on the way we will have the right to visit a tea production (Sri Lanka obliges).
Our last excursion is to the south with the fishermen on stilts (tourist trap because they climb on the stilts when we arrive) then visit Galle.
