Cuba 2012
Havana is a breathtaking capital even if poverty is supposedly present the people are cheerful happy always smiling with the music and the omnipresent dance. Many buildings are dilapidated and sometimes we wonder how it holds, on the other hand many buildings are being restored and when the regime changes this very special atmosphere may disappear. There are also vehicles from another time but on the other hand they are very beautiful and well maintained, the only modern buses are those intended for tourists.
In January we are flying to CUBA, it will be a very pleasant surprise a total change of scenery.  We took a "semi-organized" trip we have the hotel in Havana where we will stay a few days, then we will end up in a resort in Varadero for rest and relaxation.
At the bottom of the page, the Revolution Square with the portraits of Fidel Castro and
Che Guevara.
This square is huge, we imagine the square filled with people during Fidel's river speeches

An excursion in the valley of Vinales the valley of tobacco we will attend a demonstration of cigar making.
The signs winding up the revolution are very present, as well as the "yellow" coconut taxis, but many owners of old Americans are taxis.
Direction Varadero for its superb beach but on the other hand hotel clubs follow one another for many kilometers.
